The Set Up

Picture+Sound wanted to combine all its strengths. High-level technical acumen, a passionate curiosity and a culture for creative and technical innovation.

The Action

Multiple seasons of a big, hairy noisy podcast experience. A killer Social Media presence. Paid and earned media from across the globe. A unique, nerdy heady and irreverent brand identity. A pipeline and a blueprint for how to produce a unified set of engaging content for ourselves and our clients. And we took that experience and knowledge and applied it to our clients, helping producer hundreds of episodes of podcasts spanning the world and across and array of genres.

From a brand perspective we stripped everything but the name and started over. The logline, the logo, the punk rock bushido, all the way down to the innovative marketing strategy, and the bespoke podcastsing sister app, available for iOS devices.

We talked with Oscar and Emmy winners, art and science visionaries and visual effects artists, and activist entrepreneurs delving deep and finding common themes that define our theme-oriented seasons.

The Payoff

The website became a tool to three dimensionalize the listening experience; housing original mini-docs, photos and computer renderings, a crosshatch of attendant links, and killer articles and opinion pieces.
